How to Become a Member

To join the Ravenswood Federal Credit Union, each eligible member is asked to make a $5.00 deposit to be used as a minimum balance in your Share Savings Account. This deposit is equal to the par value of one share in the credit union. This is not a fee. It will be refunded upon closure of your account (if left open more than 30 days). This entitles you to become a member/owner of the credit union and allows you to take full advantage of the services offered to our members. Eligibility Requirements

Persons who reside, work, shop or worship in Jackson county, West Virginia;
Members of immediate families and organizations of such persons;
Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership;
Employees of the credit union; and
Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation located in Ravenswood, West Virginia.
